Good one Zach, though I'm still trying to gather clues of the new mold you must be designing. I'm guessing drilling out aluminum stock then cutting it? I think LBT molds uses 5120 aluminum stock...Btw, at apx the 2 minute mark it seems the shop is getting a bit disheveled....it would be nice to see a little progress there if you get time... haha

I'm thinking of cheating. I have 3 sets of mold blocks mostly done, but I'm probably going to use a Lee 6 cav to make a shortcut.

@@GunFunZS What do you mean? Like use a Lee mold with a smaller bullet and drill it out?

@@leveractiongypsy1848 yep. But they sell blank molds too. Titan is a good place to get them.

@@GunFunZS I still want to make a zinc casing bullet mold, it would have to be steel though a little trickier and probably expensive to get one made as a prototype unless I had tooling to do it which I dont

@@leveractiongypsy1848 I would use cast iron or SS. For that. Iron is less prone to heat warp than steel, which is why the commercial molds are iron. SS is a pain to machine, but would also be less prone to having zinc stick to it or accelerate corrosion. High polish and less venting is also in order

Some of it. The specific bullet has not been tested yet though.
