Do you ever make adjustments to your lasts? I have a pointy toe last that I would like to make rounder. Do you have any suggestions?

What do you use for inner and outer soles?

I wish the camera had been close up through the entire video instead of just the end. Also, seems to me that it would be difficult to create a line on both sides of the last that is even (unless you are a seasoned shoe maker). I would think it would be more accurate to just tape one side of the last, create your style lines and then tape that down, and then cut the lines on the fold of the paper.

Your foot is not symmetrical

Instead of using lasts, can we do it on our own foot, so it's custom? Ty.

We do not recommend using your own foot in place of a last for any style of shoes except sandals. This is because a last is designed to be the shape of a shoe rather than the shape of a foot. For a custom fit, we recommend building up the last with cork to alter the shape 🌟
