You only need one main ingredient to make butter at home, cream!
Pure cream with approximately 35% fat is best. I have also made it successfully with thickened cream, however it contains gelatin so if you can, make it with pure cream as it will keep better. You can add some salt to taste which really improves the flavour but all you really need is the cream.
IF YOU WANT TO USE YOUR BUTTERMILK FOR BAKING, ADD THE SALT AT THE END

Ingredients
Pure Cream, I used 1 litre in the video but you can use any amount as long as your blade is submerged.
Salt (optional)
I have used a food processor in this video although you could also use an electric stand mixer or beater, however it will take a lot longer.
