I noticed some inaccuracies in the video, if I may… • Room temperature water is perfect. There is no need to preheat water, it provides no benefit at all. • You don't weigh Moka Pot coffee. Simply fill the basket. Also, the amount of coffee is different for different size Moka Pots. • No need to wash the upper chamber unless it is dirty. But you should always rinse your Moka Pot clean after using. • The espresso should come out of the top in a smooth continuous flow until the very end. Yours is spurting and sputtering the entire extraction - which indicates something is wrong. Perhaps incorrect heat, not sealed correctly, incorrect coffee grind, malfunctioning knock off brand, there are several possible causes. Hope you found these tips helpful. Of course you are always free to make your Moka Pot espresso as you see fit.

Thank you for your notice! ‌ 1. Preheating the water causes the brewing (and also extraction) time to be reduced 2. In fact, behind the camera and before the filming I weighed the actual amount of coffee powder. I just didn't record the scaling process because of the video length. If you noticed the rest of the channel videos, I always use the scale. 3. The upper chamber was dirty! But I didn't mention that and actually, yes, it was better to mention for better understanding. 4. It's completely right! The extraction process may not have been done properly. And that's because of the unknown and not the real brand. In general, the real brands are so expensive in this country and I'm a student who wants to be more successful day by day. I will fix the errors and problems in the future videos. ‌ Thank you so much again for your accuracy and insight of yours. Your comment was so helpful and constructive.

@@barista_matin Please consider… 1. Preheating does not expedite brewing or extraction…and you shouldn't want it to. Brewing/extraction only occurs when enough pressure is achieved to push water through the coffee. Brewing/extraction time is the same either method. Furthermore, heating room temperature water in Moka Pot will take about the same time it takes to heat water in a separate kettle. Heating in the Moka Pot is just much less hassle. So there is no real benefit to preheat. 2. There is no reason to weigh Moka Pot coffee. Each size Moka Pot uses a precisely dosed amount of coffee for each size pot. You simply fill the coffee basket. I would recommend trying it. 3. It's always a good idea to maintain Moka Pot cleanliness. But hey, we're all human and sometimes forget. I pointed it out since, as presented in the video, you make no mention that your Moka Pot was dirty. And it comes across as something you do every time you use your Moka Pot. 4. I hope you can afford one of the better Moka Pots. Some knock off pots are good, some aren't. I would still try changing the heat or coffee grind - before getting a name brand Moka Pot. You're right, of course. ☕ 😊 Great advice! I think his grind size was the problem, he said "use medium to fine;" but Bialetti says, "the official correct grind for the Moka pot is medium-fine." As I'm sure you already know, the espressos sold in Italian grocery stores are ground medium-fine for the Moka: Bialetti Perfetto Moka Espresso, illy, Lavazza, Kimbo...and the Hispanic favorites: Bustello, La Llave, and Pilón.
