get a toy dc motor (he used a 3v-6v type of motor), a switch, any kind will do, and a small battery. You also can use a normal battery holder since its cheaper and can be used with regular batteries instead of a rechargeable lithium one like the one in the video. You may ask your parents about the equipment used since they might already have them and some of them are dangerous. He used a soldering iron to connect the wires of the circuit and a dremil to make the small halls for the screw but you can make those holes with a knife too or just hot glue the motor to the correction tape and skip the screws. Hope I could help.

Just for fun tho.. well these kind of toy, we called as "tipex trondol" in Indonesia. tipex means correction tape & trondol means a vehicle with no body panel only chassis..the story of this viral toys because here in Indonesia many young people love Thailooks drag bike racing which is a modified motorcycle with no body panel. So that's inspired this toys.
