How to Make Custom Exhaust for Scale Model Cars

Hello jun,is it possible to cut the antenna tube with the tamiya saw you used to cut the suspension?,because i never used cutting disks before

The hobby saw is sharp but pretty thin so cutting metal isn’t really recommended. It is still possible to cut through metals but it will take a long time to do it manually, it’s best to use a cutting wheel in this case.

The cutting tool is a Dremel with cutting wheels, I purchased on Amazon, blast pipes are basically a long pipe with two extended tips, it can be made with a few modifications with the same material. Thank you for the questions!

After markets wheels are made by Fujimi and Aoshima mostly, Amazon used to sell them but now I think eBay is the best place to go.

I used adhesive putty to attach the muffler to the exhaust pipe.

So you used 18 Gauge Stranded Wire, pulled them out and replaced it with 18 Gauge Solid Wire? ----- Why not just start off with the 18 Gauge Solid Wire already in the coating?

For steel tubes like this I would use rotary cutter, but you can also use small pipe cutter. If you get the aluminum tubes of the same size they can be cut using craft knife/saw.

Some diecast models will be slightly bigger than plastic models. But you can use bigger aluminum pipes.

You can purchase individual aluminum pipe from hardware stores, or just any radio antenna will do the tricks, the mini cutter is a Dremel tool with cutting wheels, which can also be found in hardware stores, but I purchased mine from Amazon. Thanks for the question!
