I tried this finally and it took a few tries. It’s not perfect but it’s alright and I’m still pleased. It matches my interior much better than my old knob. My old knob was pink in a black interior lol. Also idk how u got it first try without missing and leaving any spots with no carbon, it happened to me so many times and there are a couple bald spots on my final product but oh well. Thanks for the video, it was made well.

If ur wondering how I would get spots with no carbon, I think that when I wrapped it with the peel ply it moved some carbon cuz I was sure when I started wrapping it with peel ply I had it all covered.

Ohh that’s great! That’s so awesome to hear! I’ve been meaning to make a new one with a different way that you can go about it. I myself found it a little tricky trying to keep all the carbon where I wanted, it just became a patients game when wrapping the peel ply on to make sure it doesn’t distort the final look.
