What a breakthrough with the six perspectives on situations in life for me! Over the last weeks or few months my mind is becoming more free and here's an exciting thing I can picture things in my mind when words are spoken. An illustration being today as you describe the hats I can see myself putting them on and I was connecting concept with the color. The red hat with feeling was meaningful and one I can practice and grow with and then the blue hat as a manager as making a beneficial decision from the other five perspectives will also be a good companion in my life. Jim Kwik you are making so much of a difference in the world in many people's lives.! You are accomplishing your life mission and I hope it's richly rewarding for you personally!

I happened to stumble upon your videos, and quickly subscribed. I have to remodel a 40 year old house that requires many repairs. I definitely live with the red, and the black hats. Red-->Very overwhelmed. Black-->Being taking advantage of by contractors, and running out of money before the work is completed. I will work on refining all 6 hats. Thank you Jim.

Isn't it incredible! how, when someone puts a beginning and an end to the method of doing something, rather than saying "think thoroughly". How incredibly helpful this is! It is amazing.

Love the exhilaration you bring to your podcasts/videos. The White Hat Logic is my mystery hat. I analyze data & information in my work most of my day. So doing the Hat exercise I realized I leave logic for my work & walk away from it when I am done working . Well, discovery zone it needs to come with me & use it my personal life. Eyes Wide Open! Thank you 🎉

Hey @Jim! Yet another gem from your treasure. I'm immensely grateful for sharing this superb concept & simplifying it for everyone. I've been wearing the _yellow (optimism)_ hat most of the time, but after having been introduced to this amazing concept, I tried the experiment with you simultaneously while watching. I'm amazed at the outcome and I'll implement this everywhere I can definitely. Thank you so much and may God bless you 😇 ✌🏻

Thank you, Jim. The yellow hat is definitely most useful when it comes to achieving anything. Why not be an optimist? Combined with the green one -- so that you think outside of your normal ways of thinking. I think these two hats could get you really far. You should not ignore logical and emotional points of views but not get too caught up in either one. Obviously, the black hat could easily become toxic and depressing if one has identified with it. Blue hat is kind of confusing because it's not quite like the green creative opportunist, but it's more like an overarching consciousness that doesn't identify with any other perspectives. So I think there is a sense of creativity and meta-thinking. So blue hat should be a rainbow hat instead. I have the tendency to overthink even little decisions when I am stressed. So, taking some time to consider these hats/perspectives can be powerful if one can actually stand back from themselves first of all! (Blue & open like the sky)

It can be come down to the follow MENMONIC : "CAPTURE the CORE Principles of the situation are facing us to pull out the GREAT Opportunities from this Temporaey ADVERSITY". Mmh, Too often, i arbiter over my person rather harshly. Mr. Kwik here sort of, invites me, the listener, to 'referee' over my self, thro' six player-roles in a volleyball game. Booster, striker, guard, flank-er, collector, even shots 'flasher.' Or just my own assignment for 6-hats. Kwik helped me 'figure' the clock's 'SecondHand' as it circles the face. 12, 3, 6, 9, 0/12. To tell the umpire-in-me that it's time to shift my self-monitoring to (say) the 'growth' frame of mind while in a tough situation - and color such emanating thoughts in 'green.' Since footwear now comes in many colors, me now appreciates wearing different shoes for each Sport of my Game. Too many times i wear the 'black-robed' judge garment and adjudicate harshly over my performances. Sanitize, sanitize, sanitize. Phaps it glares bcos we just came out from COVID-19. To wear the doctor's white Coat, and analyze my sample feelings to learn what they are trying to tell me without good/bad labels. Will try to like more of Yellow, the color of the Sun, and use this light to shine some 'Optimism' into my heart. Mmh, and to remember to shift my focus to 'Sky Blue' when a cloud blunts out the Suns light. I think Blue was Management. Right?Appropriate, admeasure, and apportion. Sketch an end-of-day BalanceSheet and count my gains/losses. Abit hard but doable. Enough homework from this Video. Look forward to sharing more from what Kwik calls Practice, and more Practice. This is the hard Part. Let me bet, that Coach will add more into this Video -- for it is 'Loaded.' Kudos. Theeeeenks!
