Clean and wash hassa with lime
In a bowl with water add the hassa and 1 1/2 tsp salt to soak
Blended ingredients
4-6 cloves of garlic
1 mari wirrie pepper
2 broad leaf thyme
8 green onions
7 stems of fine thyme
In a bowl add spices below
Add 2 tsp roasted ground geera/cumin
Add 1 tbsp turmeric powder
Add 11/2 tbsp curry powder
Add 1 tsp garam masala
Add 1 tsp goat and duck curry powder
Mix blended ingredients with spices to a paste
In a pot with 1 tsp oil
Add curry paste and cook until it starts sticking to the bottom of the pan
Add 11/2 tsp salt
Add 1 onion finely chopped
Add hassa and mix well
Add the milk of 1 coconut with some water to cover the hassa
Add green mangoes
Add tomatoes
Add 2 eddoes cut into small pieces
Add ochros
Add 3 mari wirrie peppers peppers
Cook on low heat until fish is tender
Enjoy with rice or roti
