What is Hachee?
Hachee is a dutch stew. The stew is made with beef and onions. Usually this dutch beef stew recipe is served with mashed potatoes or braised red cabbage. I will be serving it with mashed potatoes.
Since the winter is approaching it will be a perfect time to learn how to make hachee. Hachee is a perfect winter comfort food. Dutch beef stew was one of the dishes I grew up with. Very hearty, definitely sticks to the ribs 🤣. I can't help but want some of your mashed potatoes then of course after seeing you spoon the stew onto the plate, my stomach started rumbling. Looks amazing, I've never had Dutch Beef Stew before but I've never met a beef stew I didn't like. 👍👍
