One of the most frequently asked questions I get regarding hair is 'Bubz, how can I make my hair grow faster?'. Now I'm no hair expert lol but I have learnt some handy tips here and there that you guys might find helpful.
Your genetics play a MASSIVE role. Everybody's hair grows at different rates. Of course- your lifestyle and enviroment also plays a contribution. Remember there is no 'SOLID' method out there. However, there are ways you can prevent hair breakage, damage etc.
Now this video isn't just going to cover methods to stimulate hair growth- but also how to maintain healthy hair. Why? First step to growing long hair is being able to maintain healthy hair. So I'll be covering ways to prevent hair loss & damage.
Honestly- I am very low maintenance with my hair. My hair isn't exactly super healthy to be honest. Why? Because my hair is coloured. Pollution damages it. But I can only limit it's damage and try to pamper it as often as I can.
I hope this video is helpful for you guys. I have to say- I am actually really liking my shorter hair. Make the most out of it =) Hair grows and this is even without you trying.
Oh- I apologise about the shakiness. My cam was still set on 'Face detection' so when I move- it moves too. I'm a camera noob. I filmed this same day as I filmed the Japan Haul so these two videos were shakey. face palm
I normally don't really recommend taking hair growth supplements but it's entirely up to you. Talk to a doctor/expert before trusting 'pills'. Even if its '100% natural'. I trust you guys to be able to know what is good for your body and not.

my aunt told me that conditioning the scalp makes your head generate oil faster. which is why i only condition the ends of my hair. :3 who knows? also, i have this conspiracy about how cutting your hair makes it grow faster. you know how you shave, the reason why you grow hair back again is because your body thinks you are lacking in hair all of a sudden, so then it creates more hair. i guess you can use this fact for your head too ^^

taking care of your hair compared to taking care of your scalp is actually to different things. for a person can has really oily hair, but really dry scalp. Did you know hair is made of keratin(family of fibrous structural proteins) and dead skin cells. Its to prevent heat loss, hair absorbs oil from the water, working as a natural sponge. Human hair is used in soy sauce.

I've heard that conditioners don't work on wet hair. The reason is that conditioner is an oil. And since oil is dense than water is, it'll just stay on top of the water. Ever made a lava lamp with oil and water when you were a kid? The effect is the same.

I noticed my hair wasn't growing I had a lot of over processed hair still attached to my new growth. I had my friend cut off all of my damage hair and it's been 2 years since then and my hair Is nice and long now. Sometimes If your hair is trying to repair its self it can drastically slow down hair growth but I haven't had a cut in 2 years so it's about time I at least get a trim

My Transformation Journey From Unfit 2 Fabulous! Your hair was still growing, it was just breaking off at the ends at the same rate, so you didn’t see the growth. No ones hair stops growing. Once you trimmed the damage, the ends won’t break, so you retain your growth.

One thing that is great is massaging birch water into your scalp, just make sure it doesn't have alcohol in it, beacause than it could be irritating. You can also drink linseed (mix 1 tablespoon with one glass of water and leave it for 1 hour) or a mix of nettle and horsetail tea. Linseed is also very healthy, with the tea mix you have to be careful, you shouldn't drink it longer than for 3 months, because it flushes out vitamine B and some minerals out of your system. One last thing you can do is drinking yeast, it works really good, but it tastes horrible! If you're interested make sure you find you find an exact recipe, because if you make it wrong, it will ferment in your stomach. :/ I hope I could help some of you guys. :)

Getting regular trims won't make your hair grow faster, but it removes damaged ends making the hair that you have look healthier. The trick to growing your hair at the same time is to cut off less than the amount you grow. If your hair grows half an in per month, cut half an inch every 3 months. Regular trims won't make hair grow faster, but it improves appearance and protects hair from breakage (which will make it shorter, btw). It's just a good idea to trim your hair a little when needed.

It's frustrating😔.. Finally after years of disappointment I finally found that gave me an obvious inspiring result of hair growth for just a week. 🙏🏼👍🏼😍 and I'm so inlove about it aside from its easy to do won't even take you a minute daily.

I've been told that using too much conditioner can make your hair oily. Try reducing the amount of conditioner. Also, I heard that washing your hair every other day helps keep your hair healthy. Then again, this depends on different hair types, it never hurts to try :)

Trimming hair doesn't make it grow faster at all. Your hair grows from the roots not the tips. Some treatments can actually seal split ends. Your other tips are quite spot on! :)
@misstaylor5104

She didn't say it makes it grow faster, she said trimming is essential especially if u want/have long hair-it improves the overall quality. "Who want to have long hair if it just looks dead", I believe she said. And no. There is no way to heal split ends, only living things can heal and the only live part of your hair is the follicle.

Also that being said, don't over trim. You don't need to stick to a strict schedule like you have to get a trim every 6 weeks. The more you damage your hair, the more frequently you should trim it. But if you can go 6 months without much damage, then cut your hair every 6 months. It's all dependent on the person and their hair.
@brandiposey9657

@Em04z The fact is, is that if you don't trim your hair, you'll eventually get split ends, which will keep splitting causing you to have to get more length cut off than if you were to keep it trimmed here and there. SO YES IT DOES.

most the points make a difference,you are totally on the right track but the most remarkable hair growth factor to my knowledge is stimulating the scalp. more so with people who touch their hair with a paddle brush as a hairdresser i always recommend to my clients to brush their scalps vigorously numerous times daily,tea tree oil stimulates and the heat is a great factor too

the reason why your hair is oily is actually because you shower that much. cut the hair washing and wash it around 2 times a week. in the start it will become really greasy, but the hair will notice it don't have to produce that much oil. it produces oil so the hair i protected, but don't let it become to nasty. take care- love your videos

Something that I recommend for people with damaged that's preventing your hair to grow...I recommend using Moroccan oil and place just a very small amount in your hair you don't need much at all trust me a little goes a long way ;) like I use very little and my hair is almost to the middle of my back now! But apply most of it to your ends and comb it in with your fingers and with the rest remaining comb with your fingers on the top of your head. It contains nutrients that repairs hair fast!

@xCillaKiwiix It does help keep hair healthy to cut off split ends, but it isn't necessary to get trims extremely often (every 6 weeks like some hairstylists say) if you don't use heat styling, perms, hair dye or other damaging methods. Trimming hair won't make it grow faster, but it will prevent ends from breaking off. Hair is only alive at the follicle, not along the strand so it doesn't "know" that it has an end split and will grow very close to the same rate as every other hair on the head.

If you will start alternating when you wash your hair, it will eventually adapt to the longer breaks between washings. It will be greasy, it will be gross, but just pull it up in a hair tie and deal with it. My hair was like that too, and now I can go anywhere between 3-6 days without having to wash my hair. The last day, it is greasy, but I just pull it back and let it go. :) It should help your hair some.

This is without me having the best diet in the world, but I am sure this helps too ^^

oh goodness, i know how much it will hurt. Wash your hair and use a very moisturizing conditioner (this will help detangle the knot). Squeeze a towel through your hair (do not rub as this will tangle and frizz your hair). Spray a detangling spray through your hair focusing on the knot (I recommend one from Dove). Using your fingers or a wide toothed comb, gently detangle the knot. Don't try to comb through in one motion. Comb until you feel the tangle, then repeat until it is gone.

If you dye your hair it is recommended to wash your hair in cold water, but this actually constricts the hair follicles and slows new growth (this is why hair stands up on your arms in the cold). So, you either get growth and lose dye or have nice dye and lose growth. :/

No, I condition all the time (in the scalp too). My guess would be that it's a minor genetic mutation. My sister has rougher hair, therefore less oily hair. My whole life my hair has been naturally soft and silky, but it would get oily after one day. It's mostly in the genes.

It you want to take the oily texture for a day (if, for example, you did not have time to shower), try putting talc powder (baby powder) in your hair, in small amount of course ^^ It will absorb the oil and leave your hair okay for the day :) Of course, it is not THE ultimate solution, but it can work for emergencies :P

I don't use any hair tools, even blow drier, I dislike blow driers and the fact that you have to sit down and spend almost an hour on my hair since I have a lot of hair. But my grandmother, like yours, also makes a HUGE deal of not drying my hair. (>. < ; ) Besides, I also put my hair on ponytail everyday now. Also, whenever I cut my hair to a bob haircut, it grows quite fast within 6 months to the same length as before: about 2 or 3 inches down my shoulders, and then stops growing. Same length.

Same~! I love short hair and have dyed mine. It grows faster than before and I really hate/love it~!

I've watched this a thousand times before, but I had to come here again since I got a new haircut today, and seriously my hair is ruined. It was long & I liked it already, so I just wanted a little layers, but the stylist did pretty much the opposite I wanted to! Now I look like a little kid who's been cutting their own hair..

My hair grows really really fast. I wash my hair about 3 -4 times a week with a day or two in between washings. I use warm water, blow dry it and flat iron it. I don't use treatments or anything. I guess I can say thanks genetics! :)

Trimming you ends will actually make your hair seemingly grow slower because as it grows you keep trimming more off...... Just use a good deep conditioner to keep your ends healthy =)
