This was awesome. Thank you! What did you use to secure (hammer) the dome to it's back? It looked like a nail?

It's just a regular snap setting tool, like you can find at most fabric stores. The snap setting tool has two parts: a "post" part and a "plate" part. This is the snap setting tool I used: practicallyfunctional.com/recommends/dritz-mighty-snap-attacher-5-heavy-duty-snap/ and these are the snaps I used: practicallyfunctional.com/recommends/dritz-58-heavy-duty-snaps-gunmetal/ You set the "plate" part of the tool on your table, then the back half of the snap, then your fabric, then the top half of your snap, then the "post" part of the tool, and then hammer the post until it is all attached together! (The snap tool and snaps come with instructions and diagrams as well.)

@@JessiWohlwend Thanks Jessi, I have never used the snaps before and these links will be helpful. Treasure that beautiful little one... they grow up faster than you can imagine. Remember, the older they get the more complicated the problems to resolve!
