I love the look of your peach cobbler and think of the ones my grandmother use to make when I was growing up. Her's was the best I have ever had, and I miss her so much, but remember the love she gave all of us kids.

Oh my goodness this looks good & will definitely be on my Thanksgiving table. You added 2 cups of Cornstarch?
@MsBrendaDee3 жыл бұрын
I’m so sorry I meant 2 tablespoons. You can start with 1 1/2 Tablespoons of cornstarch and enough water to dissolve it. Thanks for your love and support. God’s Blessings to you and your family ❤️❤️❤️

I wondering if I could double the bottom crust. And if it would still come out like this and drain some of that juice The crust is my favorite of all. But I think I’m going to send out for a can of peaches and try this out very very soon. Thanks in advance.
@tomclay61163 жыл бұрын
You didn’t tell us how much cornstarch and what temperature to bake it on? And I truly love all of your videos on cooking may God bless you and your family
@snowblo16 жыл бұрын
Awww man, that looks perfect. I may make this for New Year's. I really don't care for cobblers that have the fluffy type of crust on it. I prefer my crust closer to a pie type of crust, so I know I will love this. One thing I'm wondering? About how long did you cook the peach mixture for? And with the cornstarch, that was 2 tablespoons, correct that was mixed with water to make a thickner? I had thought I heard 2 cups, LOL. But yes, the Pilsbury brand pie crust is really top notch when you need something in a jiffy. I always keep a couple boxes on hand.
@MsBrendaDee6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching... Snowblo1. Yes, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch is correct (not cups) Lol. Let the peach mixture boil until the peaches are not so firm. Cook for about 10 mins and that should be the texture you're looking for. Be Blessed and Happy Years to you.
@snowblo16 жыл бұрын
Mrs. Brenda, thanks so much. I'm back watching this video again as i didn't get a chance to make your peach cobbler for new Year's, but I will try to do it for Easter coming up. I'll probably have to come back & re-watch the video again before that time comes to make sure I'm not missing any steps. I'm sure it's going to turn out great though. I can't wait to taste it. Sp proud of you & the way your channel has grown. Such a blessing.

Could I use brown sugar instead of white sugar mummy? Could I use fresh or frozen peaches 🍑?
@SouthernBelle_Teacher4 жыл бұрын
Yes! You should end up using less sugar, which is good, and cooking the peaches a little longer.

Hello Ms Brenda! Whe I was a little girl my great granma made molasses bread; is that the same as gingerbread?
@MsBrendaDee6 жыл бұрын
Hello!!! Ms Sharon. Yes, I'm thinking that they are the same. There is nothing like the smell of molasses bread. My mother use to call it syrup bread. Wow!! That bread was Delicious. I will be making us up a batch of gingerbread soon. Thanks for watching and Have a Blessed Day!!!
