So how would one go about making boards for microlepidoptera that have bodies smaller than the width of the table Saw blade?

If you reeeeeally want a thinner groove, you can buy thinner blades. Router goes as thin as you want, too.

Actually those pinning boards are bad - table for spreading winds should be angled at least at 5 degrees ...

if you like that look, sure. most people and universities use flat.

@@MooseDoesStuffit's not about the look, but it's a countermeasure for slightly wings slightly dropping few months after placing in cabinet - having slightly angeled wings after some time they are pretty much dead parallel to cabinet floor.

@bluebird1422 that's a humidity issue, and that doesn't stop all drooping, so if you don't dehumidify your storage, they'll droop past that 5' eventually anyway. primarily a EU thing, but even then univsities are dehumidifing their collections and storing them flat.

@@MooseDoesStuffdon't get me wrong, i find your video really useful, but that part with angled tables are pretty much wrong when all of the pinning boards designs take that into consideration. I'm just trying to find an idea how to cut such an angeled small piece of wood with a handsaw or table saw.
