Great video bro, glad it’s working well enough for you to be able to mod your c5, I’m still saving up to buy my own place before I can buy a c6, but that day is coming soon. Most people around me ask why I don’t just get an apartment and buy a c6, the answer is apartments in my area cost more then the monthly mortgage on a house, and if I did that I would never be able to increase my savings with my current job, plus right now my parents let me live for free, so why not stay with them until I can afford to buy my house outright. That way once I move out I’ll be able to focus on buy and modding my future c6 without worrying about going into debt.

Love the Video Dave - thanks for sharing! I do want to opine about the comment you made about obtaining parts from manufacturers IN ORDER FOR YOU to give them a good review. I have had a couple of sponsored videos. Sponsored simply means "receive anything of value". Usually a part, or a discount on the part (that you cannot obtain otherwise). If you are a bigtime KZfaqr, they probably just send you a check... IMO, if you disclose the sponsorship at the beginning of the Video (Note: KZfaq requires this & I believe it is legally required as well in most states) and you are a person of integrity that is not going to "sell out" your reputation for a quick buck (and for those with no integrity, you should ask yourself - do you really think your audience won't figure it out if you give a crappy part a good review? If you do, and they buy said product and it sucks - they are going to LIGHT YOU UP with negative COMMENTS and then UNSUBSCRIBE. That would be very short term thinking. I get what you are saying though because there probably are some shady folks out there that would sell a crappy car to their own mother - but everyone around them knows they are untrustworthy (probably for life). So in the long run it costs them dearly. B/T/W, the same potential for abuse does apply to having affiliate links in you description. If a person was unethical, they might have links to products even though they have never used them (or don't even like them) just to obtain the affiliate revenue. And you don't even have to disclose your involvement in the various affiliate programs. Anyways - sorry about the long comment - you are a quality guy and I just wanted to bring these thoughts to your attention.

My 01 C5 has this oily smell after I drive it and I drive it long enough the odor even comes through my vents. I don't see any leaks at least not on top. I see that I'm losing oil too. Could it possibly be the valve cover gaskets?? I just want to have an idea before I take it to my mechanic on Tuesday.
