@@UnhingedHarry yeah it is haha. I lived in places where some neighbors had some type of fruit tree and they always said to take as much as you want, because they either are sick of eating it or it's just a bountiful yield and they don't want it to go to waste. Sorry for the run on.

Hi, so you don't need a air lock for the final fermentation process? Won't the jar burst if the pressure builds up?
@murd3rtr0n
@murd3rtr0n 4 жыл бұрын
Watching this process, I imagine there's not much fermentation going on at all during the secondary phase. It's probably not very high alcohol content either, probably 7-9% which probably almost all occurred during the primary fermentation. This is a great method for someone who doesn't have a lot of home brewing equipment or experience but it's definitely not a process that's gonna get you a nice ,clarified, 11-13% abv wine.

Just curious is that a must? O thought without an airlock it can be made fizzy?
@motog4-75
@motog4-75 4 жыл бұрын
@@jayjiang yes I suppose so but won't be very nice. Might be too much pressure at that stage anyway so could explode. For carbonation you can always still do that after fermentation is fully completed more or less, plus waiting till the end properly will also allow for a lot of the haze to clear & sink to the bottom. Unless you want an inferior product....
