Bought a special homemade grinder at the Bayamon Market Place around 30 years ago at a cost of $200 and it's still working. Shipping was free, took it with me on the plane to Los Angeles. there was no extra charge for the extra weight, too heavy for carryon. Saved us a lot of displaced DNA in our pasteles.

I enjoy watching your video! I live in NYC and where there are few cuchifritos. My dad commented, that the starch you removed from the yucca, was once used as glue to make kites in the 40s! Thank for your great recipes!

So i glad i found your channel! I want to learn more about Puerto Rican cooking. My nana calls cassava 'manioc' in Cape Verdean. Didnt know they were the same. Thought cassava was a type of melon! These look so great, will have to find me some yucca here in north Texas which is not easy to do. Between your channel and Sweets and Beyond, i should learn everything i need.
