From what I remember,you soak the green bananas in warm water and you cut the ends in order to take the peel off. You brought some of my childhood memories alive. My mom will make these and some bacalao. At times she will cook for a large crowd at my father's baseball games. This is how she will earn money to buy our school clothes and supplies. This is literally my favorite PR food, next to this seafood mofongo that I got when I went to visit mi abuelita in Guayama...EVERYTHING in this mofongo was cooked to perfection...the shrimp, octopus, lobster, conch, & scallops, along w/the mofongo!! There's a couple things mi abuelita didn't make because they were too time consuming, so it's great to see that I can find them here!!!!😃👍
