This channel should be called the Cheese Channel lol. Practically every recipe has 5 pounds of pre-shredded cheese which is loaded with extra preservatives, additives and starch. If you knew what disgusting things are added to pre-shredded cheese to prevent clumping, you'd cringe.

Cellulose is added, which comes from plants. Humans aren't currently known to digest cellulose as it's insoluble fiber, so consider it a naturally derived, low dose of fiber. The rest of the additives and preservatives are food grade starches, powders, and calcium sulfate to prevent the cheese from clumping. The added preservatives, preserve the food by inhibiting mold and bacteria from "spoiling" the food. These are used in moderation, of course. The human body is very resilient and each one is unique. I think it's great she is cooking a good meal for her family and inspiring others to do the same if they choose to.
