I have always wondered as to why is a paratha called roti in Malaysia, especially that roti is a dry roasted, puffed up flatbread, where as paratha is a fried flatbread, like the roti canai. Good video though!

Well, in Malaysia "roti" means bread. So, Paratha = Roti Canai & Roti/Flatbread = Chapati. Anyway, thanks for the comment :-)

Every time is time to flat the roti, it bounce back. Even if I wait 30 minutes. Do you think I should change flour? I used type 00 (pizza flour)

Maybe use high protein & low gluten flour, like All-Purpose or regular wheat/white flour. Thanks.
