So excited to try this! I’m happy it doesn’t use cream, I can’t be bothered to go to the shops.

ty for sharing this video. is this good and stiff enough for macaron filling? and how sweet is it compare to swiss buttercream?

Hi thanks for sharing! I have a few questions. How sweet is this? Is this enough to frost 24 cupcakes? Also can I add gel colour to this? Thanks!
@jinnyscakes3 жыл бұрын
It is sweet, if that is too much for you you could use half salted and half unsalted butter this would cut through it. You may need to double the recipe for 24 but that all depends on how much buttercream you are putting on each ( which style) yes you can add colouring to it xx

Hi Jinny....IF you on occasion check this video comments, are you in England or Australia???? Wondering what your weather condition is wherever you are... I live in Houston Texas and it is basically hot and humid here which is why I can't make Gingerbread for houses here because the weather causes it to break down....so, I'm wondering if you can use this in warm humid weather conditions or only fall/winter time IF, as I said your weather conditions are similar to the Southern States in the USA. Thanks much...still going to make this...looks LUSCIOUS and I use Callabaut White Chocolate...used to make wedding / party cakes and to me this brand is lovely to work with and tastes amazing.... looking for new icing since I'm getting back into cake business... I don't do Instagram or FB so do you have anyplace to see your work?

I'm in ireland so not humid at all. You may struggle with this in your heat... which I am very jealous of. I am trying to find a way to stabilise buttercream but not there yet. I only have yt Facebook and insta I'm so sorry. I will keep working on that buttercream xxx

@@jinnyscakes Well good morning Jinny and I'd never have guessed Ireland... probably needed to listen to you more closely...do NOT be jealous of the heat we struggle with in the Southern states... even my little dog doesn't like going out or at least not for very long...I feel SO terrible for any animal who has to live outside. I used to live in Los Angeles where there was NEVER any problem making anything but CA isn't a place to live right now if you've kept up at all with NOT fake news. Anyhow, I go to a small farmers market on Thursdays and am going to bake today and tomorrow and I love the recipe you have so while I have a lot of things to make, I'm hoping to make it and see what happens when I take it outside... if I do make it I'll let you know..but thank you so much, I was actually dreaming about it so I'm really excited to see if it will be stable or fall apart. Happy day or evening...C

They will both will last in the fridge for 5 days and 2 days out. I would do the vanilla Swiss just to tone down the chocolate xxx

This comes off as a person who spent $500 on a mixer and is trying very hard to justify the cost. the presenter has no connection to the camera, she's just talking to hear herself talking. Unfortunatly, this recipe is very dodgy and clumsy. There are so many missteps in this from the world of patisserie, it's shockingly bad.

Well your a jolly bunny aren’t you. That’s why there are so many recipes out there no one recipe/technique suits everyone. Sometimes I do love having a little chat and sing to myself 🤣🤣🤣
