what a perfect start to the day - woke after the worst nights sleep at 530am to a stunning brilliant red sunrise - got up sorted the cats so they went outside and stopped their fighting - its calm and crispy cold for a spring morning - no more snow and birds chirping so loud and obviously happy to be alive - turned on YT and there is my favourite soaper - so back into a comfy cozy bed to watch as a beautiful piece of art being made

one thing i do with that soap dough karen - is once rolled out and ready to stamp out whatever cutter design - i lay a sheet of glad-wrap over the soap dough then punch the cutter down - no sticking at all - makes it a much easier and cleaner job - thats my wee trick anyways - might help others - just about sorted to venture into my new soap room - just waiting on the guy to build me some shelves so i can really get it tidy and know what i have - its a very quiet wee house now - miss not having jim to chat with and throw ideas around with

not only did we get to watch a beautiful soap made, but also got a recipe. love the snowflakes.and the pinecones on top added that special touch.I'm starting my Christmas soaps tomorrow. been sick with my 4 yr old son too.

Hello Karen, you have me in the mood for the Holidays. Your soap recipe sounds wonderful. I make a little soap, but I can't afford to use cocoa butter much. You pick out such pretty colors to use together. The little pine cones are so cute. I watched this video the other day on my TV, but I can't comment on there, so this is my 2nd time seeing it, but this time on my computer. You made me hungry talking about that soup. I've never had that, but I'm going to try to make it from listening what ingredients you put in. Cold weather's here, and soup is always warming. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos.
