Tiny campers need tiny doors. Here’s how I built mine to save money over buying a door.

Nice build. If you don't mind a suggestion...With the side doors, you may consider having the hinge towards the front on both side. With the way you have them, If the doors happen to open up while in transit...the doors are going to slam open and stay open until you noticed them open and pull over to close them. Wishing you you the best with your adventures.

REALLY ! What is up with door prices these days ? I was floored when I went on Amazon expecting to grab a full size RV door for under $200 but the cheapest one was $650. I know everything is sky high these days but doors and windows for RVs are ridiculous. I can only guess that since RVing has become so popular recently that there is a bit of price gouging going on.

If the bearings are blowing out, it probably down to your feed rate. Counter intuitive but you need to move faster along the cut and it should fix the issue. Also of course make sure you're using a sharp bit.

Love it! About to make a similar door for myself :) Could you please share the dimensions of wooden bars and ply thickness you have used? 5-6mm i guess? And maybe it makes sense to put some insulation into the gap between the door and wall, like rubber strip or maybe felt - what do you think? Also maybe today with more experience you would do something differently? For example i am thinking about using a hard plastic sheet instead of plywood to save some weight 🤔 Thanks!

Are you able to pull this behind a Prius? I’m building a custom camper and plan to tow it with a Corolla. How does your Prius handle it?

The prius can pull it but it suffers. about 3000 RPM to maintain 100km/h speed. The engine only produces 76 Horsepower. Id suggest a car with 1.8L or larger size engine.
