Check this super fast and easy recipe for the 7/11 Tamago (egg) sandwich! We love visiting Asia and eating all the foods out there, but one that is always special is the crazy cheap egg sandwiches you can find at 7/11, Family Mart, or any other convenience store!
These are so cheap and easy to scale up if you're hosting or just want to prepare a quick lunch. Check the recipe below!
Ingredients:
6 Eggs
Chinese Whitebread
2 tbsp Japanese Mayo (We recommend Kewpie!)
Dash White Pepper
Salt/ Pepper to taste
1/5 Chopped Onion
Scallions to top (optional)
Recipe:
Chop 1/5 of onion finely
Boil Eggs (10-11 mins for hard boil, 6 mins for jammy inside!)
Place eggs in cold water and remove shells
Chop the eggs finely and place in a bowl
Combine the white pepper powder, dijon mustard, salt & pepper, kewpie mayo
Mash ingredients together
Add the filling to the bread
Done!
