This is the Mango crossbody bag featuring a front pocket, an inside sleeve and ahustable shoulder strap.

-6 oz (2.5 mm) vegetable tanned leather (approximately 5.4 sqft (0.5 sqm) if the piece is rectangular or 7.5 sqft (0.7 sqm) if the piece is irregular)
-Fiebings Pro Dye (I used saddle tan and light brown)
- 1 mm waxed thread
- edge dye
HARDWARE
- 3 x 1" (25 mm) buckle
- 2 x 3/4" (20 mm) D rings
- 1 Sam Browne stud
-2 LOXX clasps

Same thing on the gusset. You had one side with holes punched. You then folded the other side of the gusset. Did you punch your holes while you had the one side of the gusset already stitched?

When you were working on the front pocket, you folded the bottom edge all the way around with pliers. I see there were no holes for your stitching when you did that. When did you put the holes in on the folded edge to attach to the large section of the bag?

make the holes using the pattern, then fold the gusset with a plier. Probably I forgot to do that and made the holes after I folded the gusset

I use a policloroprenic adhesive, in Romania it is called Prenadez. I think it is a contact cement. It is thin because i dilute it with tholuene.

You can use Sam Browne studs like the one for the centre strap. In this case do not punch the large diameter hole in the pattern assignedto LOXX. I found a new way we can print on thin clear plastic and transfer the pattern onto leather.

hello should i still us the tallow if i decide to dye the leather or use it after dye and resolene claude vancouver canada ps i dont know what to do every jel pen i tried none of them work they even say that they wont work with veg-tan leather could you tell me the brand that you use thank you again

you can use it after dye and resolene. We make belts from a thick vegtan leather. We first cut the belts, we grease them with a danish cream, we let it dry 1-2 days then we dye. There is no rule, every piece of leather is different.

The leather in this tutorial is a 2.4 vegetable tanned leather made in Romania, near Cluj. My silver pen is italian, bought in Bucharest from a warehouse called Despa. Sometimes it fails to write but I can warm it a little with a lighter and it will work (probably :) )
