Attention to detail folks - add extra flavour by really digging into that Teflon using the coarsest Stainess Steel tool you have. 👍
@mrivera76963 ай бұрын
Omg, (lol) I wholeheartedly appreciate your sarcasm, I reeeeeeeally do but ... just in case there's anyone out there who does not know, that comment about digging into the Teflon coating with a metal utensil is just a joke!! Please folks, remember that you must NEVER use any metal items on those pots, pans, trays, etc. The best items are the ones made out of sìlicone and/or wood.

Yes, it's sweet. That's what I do. I score the pan with Brillo right before cooking. Only to loosen up the top few microns of Teflon particles. It adds a sweet flavor to the food. My Papi taught me this trick.

hey all just wanted to say a little tip a chef told me about, she said to always add lemon at the end when its off the heat!! apparently the heat makes the lemon a little bitter and not as citrusy and fresh. she said cooking with lemon rind is ok but with lemon juice, you get the most out of it when you add it at the very end! ive been doing this and i much prefer the taste of adding the lemon juice after cooking, just a suggestion for people to try!

1) squeeze water out of fish on paper towels 2) coat fish with seasoning 3) non-stick pan on med temp, with a bit of oil 4) Cook one side for 4 min then flip 5) add 2 pieces of butter and squeeze lemon juice on top, let cook for another 3 min

Good for a first attempt. The “water” is full of omega 3. You can brine the fish in salt before for a day for more flavor. Then add what you want on the stove. Panko dano’s old bay garlic etc

Closer to blackened than pan seared - but all good. Careful not to over salt a piece of fish or it can taste like it’s about to turn bad. The butter has enough salt for a small piece of fish.

Would advise you to salt the fish and let it rest on a rack before frying. The fish will have a much better consistency... My experience you A better restault and it also recommended by the Norwegian chefs. Acording to me, it will be the most important to "pay attention to the details" 👌

Couple issues with this one. Non-stick pans don't belong in kitchens, they belong in the trash. Don't season in the pan, the excess burns and adds nothing good. And also, didn't really think about the water in fish, but it makes sense, they live in water, they should be soaked in it.
