Ingredients
For the Starter/Culture
- 4 tablespoons full cream powdered milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 chili peppers with green stalk or 1 lemon or lime
For the Yogurt
- 5-6 tablespoons yogurt starter
- 3-4 cups full cream powdered milk or more
- 2-3 cups room temperature water or more
For the Breakfast Recipe
- 1/2 cup home-made yogurt
- 2 bananas
- 2 tablespoon instant or rolled oats
- Drizzle of honey or sweetener of choice
Toppings
- Granola
- Apple slices
- Banana slices
- Drizzle of hone

There's this aspect of biology where we have to teach our students CULTURE and it's industrial importance. TIP: i have always made yogurt by buying store bought and using powdered milk its what's available to me. The best trick i learned to keep it warm is to put it in the oven ( if it has a pilot light great, if not ) in a jar with a candle close by but not touching... but also leave the oven open a crack so the candle stays lit. Within 5hrs i have thick fully made yogurt. I have never made my own starter and because of covid yogurt has been scarce. I don't have chilli peppers or lemon.. Will have to try with limes!
