My ex broke up with me almost 3 weeks ago from our loving relationship because I was too needy, clingy, and he had new feelings for someone. He wasn’t completely over me at first, but I ruined it. I was begging, but that wasn’t the problem. When I finally started to go no contact, I told one of his friends (that’s also one of my friends) why, and she told him everything. He got angry that I got him so worried by ignoring him just so he’d think about me. He told me after that I can’t win him back after what I did to him. He nonstop talks about his new girlfriend, by the way. Anyways, then, he found this conversation where I was talking about making him break up with his new gf even though i wasn’t actually going to do it. He told me how I’m a terrible friend and that he wants me to let him and his new gf be happy. Why in any way would he want me or let alone anything to do with me ever again? What can i do in this situation? The things I’ve done make me seem so toxic, insane, and like I haven’t gotten over him. What can I do to get him back if I even can at this point?

today, it's been exactly 42 days of absolutely no contact, which kinda makes me nervous, because most videos say this period would last about 30 days... i know that each relationship is unique and that it can vary, but waiting and not really knowing what I am waiting for is really hard😔 I really try to focus on myself but from time to time that pain just comes back. especially bc i had to see him on saturday on a wedding and we just looked into the eyes for a short moment and then went on like we are strangers😞😞😞 after 6,5 years of an actually healthy relationship he broke up with me bc of his family, telling me that he still loves me...

Well we have reconnected but we work together. Also we had two full months of vacations where we had minimum to no contact. However every time we talk it's less awkward and last time she was subtly flirting. She was interested when the conversation turned to how I have changed. Two days later I send her a neutral text that could spark a conversation but I got one word answer, though I was cool with it. I also think she is with someone else but I'm not sure if they are just dating or whatever, she's not too loud about it.

When is something considered a rebound relationship or an actual genuine relationship? Is there a time frame such as anything up to 1 month is a rebound or could it be anything such as a week after is a rebound? Is it anything beyond 2 months a genuine relationship?

My ex and I reconnected with in the last few weeks after 5 months of no contact. He started to chase for a while but then started to pull away. At one point I got upset because I wasn't getting Good Morning text and frequent calls. I did let my emotions get in the way and I think it was because of a snapchat story I posted that made him feel jealous. That's when the chase ended. I want my ex to chase me again and to get back together.

Reached out after a half year and she told me she doesnt want to be with me out of pity. Why the hell does she think she has to pity me, I was feeling sorry for her because Im doing so great. I don't think she pities you, especially if you're doing better than her in the "life department." So I just think she meant that she would rather be with someone for the right reasons instead of being with them because she doesn't to break their heart. I need help, please answer. My ex and i been broken up for 3yrs, were chill with each other, but its hard for me cause i still like him. A few days ago i told him to stop talkin to me cause i need to move on, he said “damn ok” so i thought he understood, but the next day he tried calling me and i ignored. Then at school, he tries to chill with me and is starting to talk to me more than usual🤔 him an i usually sit across the class from each other, but that same day, he sat in the seat next to mine. I texted him and told him that i said not to talk to me, he responded with “i can do whatever i want.” A few days after that, he asked for a hug for being “rude” cause we got into a small arguement and weird thing is, is that whenever i give another guy a hug, my ex stares hardcore. He says he doesnt like me and wants me to move on, but what the hell is he doing?? Does he actually want me to move on or not? Does he still like me and is trynna hide it?? It's been just over a month since my ex broke up with me and I recently found out she is getting flirty with this guy. I've been feeling great after the break up because I've been working on my flaws and keeping myself happy. I saw her message this guy that she "feels butterflies to this day" when he winks at her which may indicate that this might have been happening before the break up which hit me pretty hard. I am a different type of guy. But my ex broke up with me had to move out because it was so difficult to fix what has been broken. So first I will always be there for my kid but will not make anything about the relationship unless it's serious. Don't jump right in back off and only make it about the kid unless he can prove he is invested in the relationship. Then both of you make sure to keep the boundaries. Don't know your whole story but if you made changes stick to it a real man will make the right effort in this situation. You are a prize remember that so he must respect you!

Disappear for a while and with no warning he will definitely start to feel different about you and come back. But you must play your cards right when does come back. Which is how I messed up with my ex. I want my ex back and the steps I took after we reconnected were all wrong I let my emotions get in the way and started to make him jealous and he stopped chasing. Now I've got to start from scratch and see if we can rebuild again before it's to late.

We dated for 7 months. So idk we both have been pretty on and off since past 3 months. We weren't dating but we weren't just friends too. I had my SATs and everything. After they got over, we fought again and he said that he was with me just so that I don't ruin my papers and all! And that he doesn't wanna be with me and that he has restricted himself from going into other relations just so that I don't get hurt but he cannot be the "bigger person" anymore and that i should leave me, it's over. It depends on WHY you broke up with him/her. If he/she did something that caused you to break up with him/her, then I wouldn't reach out. Let them reach out and apologize. (I don't know why people assume that the dumper is always wrong). However if you dumped them because "its not you, it's me" type of thing then you do need to be the one to reach out.

I guess there’s no perfect match, we always have to work on a relationship. But if u have to wait for a year or 2 for ur ex to come back. Seriously wasting time and there’s no Guarantee. I guess it’s depends on individual situation. Most relationships people struggle. Love with the right person is luck of draw. What if u never find one? Feel like winning lotto. Seriously guys has a lot of control in a relationship. Girls not so much. If a guy decides to grow and change.. most time lots of good women out there. But girls to find that mr right so much harder.

We have dated for about 2 years and I have been in no contact for over 2 weeks. I have been focusing and trying to improve and be a better version of myself. I know it sounds bad and everything but I am seriously ready to commit and be a true genuine man. How should I approach the situation to get in contact with her?? Thank you sincerely, Kevin

Freddy The Goatt she has caught you 3 times cheating on her at least emotionally. I don’t know if those are the only 3 times you’ve been disloyal but you have made that decision not once, not twice, but 3 times (at least). It has only be a little over a month since the break up. That is not a long enough time frame to break a habit like that. You don’t want to get together again (if she is even interested) for you to think you have changed and fall back into your bad habits, you would just be piling more damage onto this girl. You need to focus on a complete change in your mindset based on WHY you made those decisions each time (did you really not like this girl as much as you thought? Is she just appealing now because she left you? Were there issues in the relationship you were too insecure to bring up aka lack of effective communication? Are you impulse driven and couldn’t help yourself? A combination of factors?). Don’t try to connect with her until you are actually changed. You may feel you are now but your triggers (the examples above of why you may have done it in the first place) WILL come up again and if you have not solves them within yourself, you are setting yourself and this poor girl up for round 2 of the same thing. Giving her space will give her the chance to improve on anything she may have been struggling with as well.

Hi there. My girlfriend of two years recently moved 3 hours away to start a new job. Work is busy and she found a new friend group to do everything with. She became distant at first, then said she needed time to figure herself out during this change, then broke up with me and won’t reach out. Now what?

Hey Max Collins, how much does it bother you that she still uses your Netflix? If it's that big of an issue, just tell her you cancelled it and you're using someone else's account. There are worst things to lie about. - Adrian

Love Advice TV it doesn’t bother me as much as it does other people that I let her use it, I do occasionally find myself checking to see if she’s watching...i am blocked on her social media how do I show her I changed, I spoke to a friend of her and she go SUPER mad, I’m dead to her and we will never happen again however she has said since then when returning my things that she still cares about me, I was overwelming and she needs space, she didn’t take enough time after her last relationship for herself

yes, if he blocked you he will still unblock you out of curiosity to know what you are up to, and if you are doing well without him, he'll try to get u back. but ill advise you to move on and don't wait for him. hope this helps..hugs

He is basically showing how to exude to your ex that you have changed. It very well may be slightly manipulative if they aren't fully changed yet, but this video is for the purpose of helping people who are going to change. Nothing wrong with this, all it is is understanding psychology.
