Thanks for the great video!! I have just one question: What is this thing called Blaster? Sorry, wrong question. My real question is: Is this spray just for surface rust? Ok one more question: Should the rusty area be hit with a wire brush to remove scale and/or paint bubbles to allow the fluid to reach all areas? Thanks in advance for your responses. Thanks for making great instructional videos!!

Great mix. Went back through vid and got exact mix. Confused about only one thing, when you mixed it up you ended up with 1/2 of a bottle. Then on the rear bumper of Zilla, you had a bottle that was full. Since I didn’t see a ton of bubbles in it I’m assuming you didn’t top it off with water. Did you just double all of the original mix you quoted to get a full spray bottle?

The dish soap works because it breaks the surface tension allowing the fluid to lay flat and not bead up... works for almost anything you want to spray for coverage... even homemade herbicides like vinegar and salt... add dish soap and it keeps the solution from 'beading up'

After making the mixture you describe in this video, I realized that most of the rust on my car, which is above my windshield and roof is under bubbled paint. I watched another video you did where you injected PB Blaster into bubbled paint with a needled syringe. Can I use the mixture to do the same or should I use only PB blaster?

Well I'm totally embarrassed! Turns out Canadian Tire carries PB Blaster. It's similar to WD-40. I tried it on my truck and cars various squeaks and noises, even grinding sounds Etc., and they immediately disappeared. So when it comes to making the rust proofing, it simply consists of transmission fluid, Dawn dishwashing liquid , and PB Blaster. And the blaster sold for Less than WD-40! I'm hooked on it. they also have a lubricant I'm going to try.

That was the first and the last time I ever used Corn Huskers. Scary stuff.

Zombie: Corroseal would work differently ... use it if you want to attack the rust problem and convert the rust to a paintable surface then paint it. If done correctly it should stop any future rust, as long as your surface was prepped right, the corroseal applied right and your finish coat of paint applied right. SPC's concoction is to prevent further rust UNTIL you decide to attack the problem, not INSTEAD of attacking the problem.
