HOW To Mix Paint For Pouring On Vases ~ Mixing Paint With Apple Barrel Pouring Medium

Күн бұрынI love doing acrylic pours on glass vases, and I’ve figured out the BEST pouring medium to use for them! Let Lauren and me show you how I mix my paint.

I love Apple Barrel Pouring Medium for vase pours. You can mix it with tube paint or craft paint, and it holds its layers much better than when mixed with Liquitex pouring medium or floetrol.
Add the pouring medium a bit at a time and mix thoroughly after each addition. Your paint should flow well and leave a fairly thick mound in the cup.

Sha! Lauren is absolutely adorable! To use as much of the paint as possible, I put a little of the pouring medium in the bottle, shake it up, and add it to the paint before adding all of the medium. Love how she wants to get into the action of mixing the paints.

Yes she did great with mixing! In this particular case, the paint was cheaper than the pouring medium so I didn’t care too much about getting every bit out of the bottles. But I definitely do that when I mix with floetrol or water!

I’m definitely going to try this. I have several vases but I don’t do resin so I never painted the because I was fearful how to finish. ✌️💜😊
