7:55 while adding thickness to the inside it is getting added to outside too

Ok, make sure that the thinkness value is negative and the mode is simple. If the issue persists, close modifier and add it again

when i do this part 5:40 my vertices doesnt look thick like that, it just shows the vertices

Hi, it's likely that your scene is in X-ray view, in which case you can hit "alt + z" to get back in solid mode. I hope this helps

Okay this video is kind of good, but where would I get the reference, how am I meant to do this with no refrence or is there something I don’t know ?

Hi Jeffrey, the reference used was from Google. Here : images.app.goo.gl/jrcDBqjzTissa8Yu8. I hope that helps.

Please how can we get other part of the shoe i can only see the side view of the shoe

The side view was the only reference used in this tutorial but if you'd like references for other sides of the shoe e.g top and back , you could search Google images for a Nike dunk like this top view reference: images.app.goo.gl/LzRKfGxEeCk12fAu6
