This is a how to on mount Kenda K530 Pathfinder Rear Tire - 22x11-8 tires on a 8 inch lawn tractor rim. This video is meant to educate so yes its long and some parts are boring. At the time i debated ITP Mud Lite AT Tire Rear 22x11x8 56A387 but chose the Pathfinder because of good reviews in snow situations.

Use a ratchet strap to compress the center of the tire and hit with air, if the rim is lubed the bead should slide right into place! Debeaded the tire on my John Deere woods toy by hitting a log and me and my pops got her back up and running in about 15 minutes and that includes his trek home to get the air pump and stuff

I've used the Kendas you run on three mowers so far as it's a great upgrade over stock. BTW tire mounting compound is amazing. I quit soapy water years ago and use compound on mower, motorcycle and truck tires.

1st tire, took me about 5 minutes to mount. The 2nd one? Bout an hour & a half of battle-royal!

Try spraying everything with soapy water beforehand and it will not be such a a struggle. Ditto for the installation too

Where did you get those tires?? I can't find any that size that will fit a mower wheel.

Can you put a 18 x 9.5 x 8 tire on a rim that had 18 x 8.5 x 8 tires. I wanna put a set of go kart tires on the back of my mower.

I would like to know the width of the rims in this video, since I would like to know if you can put a 22*10-8 tire on a 22*8-8 wheel? I've been told by more than one person, who "should" know, that it isn't possible (put this seems counter to the advice in this video).

Yes, I had 8 inch wide tires, now it has 1a inch wide and it worked just fine. This has 7 inch wide rims
