In Australia we throw the bags of ice on the ground, 3 times, every time. Like a Silverback we assert our dominance over that frozen treasure. The result is a shard riddled ice that hugs every can of happiness in a cold embrace. Try it, it will enhance each beer and your friends will be impressed by your absolute expertise.

Yeah, people throw it on the ground to break it up everywhere. Literally everywhere bagged ice is sold.

@@radhiadeedou8286 Was looking for this, 100% agree. The ice layers must also be thick enough so that you can barely see the beer through it. The ice will lose volume as it melts, so you have to be sure you have enough to chill the future beer you will be adding as space is freed up.

I was taught the first bag of ice goes on the bottom, then your beverage of choice in a SINGLE layer, then Ice, the beverage, then Ice, repeat until out of cooler space. (Should never run out of beverages or ice BEFORE cooler space. That way you can do the tactical resupply one hour in.)
@nolanryan22342 жыл бұрын
I don’t like the ice at the bottom. Waste of space in my opinion. The cold water from the ice will navigate its way down there and by the anyone breaks through the upper layer of beer they will already be ice cold. All about standing the bottom beers up
@treebeard84752 жыл бұрын
I’ll drink any temperature beer because I have alcoholism in my genes. That’s what I tell myself anyways :)
@TheLZempir32 жыл бұрын
That's flat out wrong. You absolutely cannot fit as much beer in the cooler if you have ice in there first.
@ftw4twcs2 жыл бұрын
Incorrect. Heat rises and cold sinks. You're wasting cooler space and ice by doing that. max out beer in the mf'er, then put ice to fill gaps. if you need a rush on the brews, throw some cold salt water inside.
