Really love the skin! Seems like all you ever see people do on nurgle models is cartoonish pale green. Your skin is so much more natural & rancid looking. Like meat that's been left out in the air for too long. Keep up the fantastic work!

Thank you for the video. I really liked your not green take on nurgle. The way you pulled all the colours together with the initial shade was really eye-opening.

also very very nearsighted, once I managed to get used to my magnifier light, it really did help the eyestrain! I love that you mention using old brushes for basecoating/initial layers - I think alot of people tend to use their best brushes not realizing they're not the r ight tool for the job. One thing experience does help with, even if I'm not a great painter, is learning what tool works best I think

I actually really like the blotchy, untidy blending patterns - they add a lot to the atmosphere of the model.

This is incredible! I've been looking for a decent nurgle skin tone/colour pallette and this seems to fit the bill. Thank you for posting. Keep up the great work 👍

Died a little inside seeing you paint those vertical red lines freehand, i cant even do that with a pen lol. Everything else was very approachable though, gives me confidence i can do it too.

Omg. That was well cool. Whilst long, it didn't put me off. Soooooo much to learn. It looked really bad after the base layer but man, you brought it to life. Really appreciate you giving us these wonderful videos out of the goodness of your squishy heart 🤟🏼 I also use a headset to paint. 50, and just cannot see the detail. Makes a great difference. You only have one set of eyes. Look after them! Looking forward to another vid sometime soon 😊

I actually did paint the fly variation, I used color change paints to give it a fairly realistic housefly look :)

Amazing work, as always. But please, how, how HOW do you manage to keep that tiny amount of pain wet on your brush for so long??! I would love to paint just a fraction this good, but my paint is always either dry but the time I get it to the model, or it's so watery, I'm basically just washing it haha!

I will do some bases. Most of my gaming models have very simple bases, but I'll do something a bit more interesting for a video.

21:05 interesting, so you don't mix the paint with the water thoroughly or do you find that paint separates a little and you use that to your benefit? EDIT: you go into later. So the fact that the water dries faster on the edges, means the paint is less diluted there.

I'm also getting older and starting to experience eye-strain, but struggled to find magnification glasses that sit comfortably over my glasses - would you recommend the pair that you use?

I spent ages looking at different versions in a similar price range and they are all the same. None of them are brilliant, but they do the job. I had to customise mine for comfort.
