For the Ghost grey, the layer was painted on once all over, any tidying where some lack may have ended up on the armour would have been fixed by going over it twice. The paint is perfectly thinned down in the first place so there was no need to do it any further :)

Ive not used it personally, but I am fairy positive that it would be a great substitute for it :)

Ah yes with both the twigs and moss i dry them out in the Garage ( i tend to collect items like that in the spring/ summer) the moss dries over a few months so i left that to do it's thing. As for the twigs i do put them in the oven at 100oC for a few minutes - just to sterilise them and it hardens them up slightly - keep an eye out for any thin pieces as they will go black, so take them out beforehand :) The moss ive never put in the oven - i got a big batch of moss over 5 years ago and it's still kept its nice green colour :):)
