Interesting fact, the only time Blue pauldrons show up in lore are the Star Wars rebels mobile app game where they indicated snipers. In lore, Black was for enlisted, White was for Sergeants, Orange for unit leaders/Captains, grenadiers and incinerators wore Red, and mortars wore yellow. Nothing wrong with going with a color that you enjoy, just thought I’d share some interesting nerdy lore stuff though.

Awesome video man! This is how I painted 5 Squads of Stormtroopers, and 4 sets of clones in mere hours. I think I spent almost as much time on the bases as I did painting the models lol.

Excellent video. Worth noting that plastic glue doesn't really work on the soft poly miniatures from FFG. Super glue should be used for best hold.

Thanks for this, I made a dreadful decision to paint my 40k storm trooper battalion as Imperial Stormtroopers for the memes and boy was I dreading painting a thousand points of tempestus scions white and black XD The other half of the army is grey Knights who are DEFINITELY NOT SITH. Nope, no sith here. Just black armoured with red powered swords... Lead by an inquisitor in black robes and firing lightening from his hands as his white wrinkled face is lit blue by his forceful smitening... I'm the worst and I make bad decisions... But the memes dude... Anyway, thankyou for saving my dumb butt from messing up all the white armour.

Do you thin the contrast paint as well?

should have went with a dry brush over the white then edge highlighted

I’m not sure how you are brushing that white, I definitely keep getting that coffee stain look but I made it work.

Whenever I buy black paint, Vallejo or Army Painter, it's always very runny/watery, not very thick. Is that normal?

What brand of plastic glue do you use? My flash only stocks the citadel one but the tip keeps falling off for me.

Isn't it better to paint the concave parts of the model black first and then use contrast citadel paint ?
