U dont have to use a sealer but u do have to use a primer. U cud get the best of both worlds and use the sealer that is also a primer

I’ve never done work like that but I’ve seen a few videos and want to eventually on my car and from what I’ve seen you should have the garage door open a bit for ventilation. I think he didn’t because of the dust it could bring in but be safe

For this grilles do u have to use a sealer primer?
@Robs_garage902 жыл бұрын
I did mostly because the red covered the white sealer with less coats and was brighter. I have seen body shops spray the paint on plastic parts without using sealer as well

Holy crap dude, I’m just going to buy a can of flat black and go for it

Honestly it will probably turn out good man. It all depends what you are going for. A paint match to the body just takes a bit more work

I painted a plastic grille with flat black from a spray can and after 1 year it is bubbling off the grille. Never stuck well.

Very nice job. What did this cost to do assuming I already have a gun.

Thank you. Materials are not cheap at all especially when used brands such as ppg. I probably used 300 dollars in sprayable material
