Hi Everyone! Today's tutorial is on how to paint realistically using acrylic paint. I chose to do a monochrome study of the moon as using only white and black to create an image really helps improve your technique for creating shapes and blending the paint without having to worry about the colours of the painting. Thank you! 💜 I can't exactly remember but it was definitely a few hours, maybe 3/4? I normally do my paintings in small time chunks over several days so it doesn't feel as long as it might sound 😂

I went to your etsy but nothing for sale? I'm in Australia, do you think maybe that's why? Anyway I loved this tutorial! Going to try to paint the moon tomorrow as it is the night of the full moon! Where did you get your reference photo?

Hi, so with Etsy I have to pay a listing fee and it only lasts for 3 months and I haven't gotten round to updating it as nothing had sold so far! 😂 I will update it for you tho! I got my reference photo from a royalty free website I think it was either Pixabay or Pexels but there are loads of photos out there of the moon 🌜 Have fun painting tho, this is one of my favourite paintings I've done 😊
