Hace unos años pinté una mini de Gandalf el Blanco usando un marrón claro de base, ahora con estos tonos realmente se ve valga la redundancia blanco. Gracias por el consejo

At last I know where to put Khaki in a BSL triad! 🎉 I bought all the acrylic colours from the new game range but there are some paints that are not represented in triads. Specifically Khaki, Cayman Green, Dessert Yellow, Earth, Bronze Brown, Plague Brown, Leather Brown and Beasty Brown. Angel you help me place them in triads? 🙏

Why'd you start with black primer instead of grey if you gonna paint white? That I'll never understand...

You can see the reflections of light on the model when it's primed black, zenithal priming mimics this but not as true to reality with how light bends around shapes.

grey primers usually have white pigment mixed in, and white pigment is notoriously shit at being smooth

@@Ashden96 I dunno, I have few grey paints and none of them looks or feels grainy... one grainy paint I got is pure white from old game color and even regular model color feels fine, and then there are things like tamiya white or white inks which are probably even smoother...

You may start with your preferred primer. I chose black primer as it is my go-to. :)

This is actually the reason that i stopped using the new Vallejo Game Color... Look at the grains in that paint, it looks like sand. You can see it, you can feel it, and you can't ignore it.

@@AngelGiraldeZ But you can see it on your miniature as well, at 5:57 you can clearly see chunks/little grains on the cape. Other paint brands doesn't have that problem, not even the old VGC had that.

I've bought two sets of Artis Opus S brushes, and I still use my original (old) set all the time for washes, glazes, contrast, etc. Then my brand new set exclusively for super fine detail work. They have held up great over the years and even my 1st gen ones will get super sharp after soaping and cleaning them thoroughly. They have held up better than my W&N set (which I still use to do basecoats and other non-precision work) Just because an artist is sponsored by a product doesn't mean the product isn't good.

Utter nonsense, Artis Opus brushes are great . I use Windsor and Newton brushes alongside Artis Opus M series and they’re both great
