Went to MEPS yesterday & was lucky to be one of the first groups done because there were A LOT of ppl there. The overall process wasn't bad at all I think some ppl just overthink it. Each part of the physical didnt even last 5 minutes. Actually, I think the longest part of the whole thing was just the presentation & them explaining what MEPS is. Then again, like I said I was amongst the first group done. Get there early, be first, get it out the way.

I have a friend who has been to rehab. Not a state owned rehab, but a privately owned rehab, it’s owned by a football player, does he need to worry about questions about rehab at meps? They’ve passed a drug test for their recruiter and they will pass one at meps and they are sooo willing to tell their tall tailes if that is what is needed to drink blood and what not. (Blood instead of alcohol is an improvement for them). Appreciate ya, you’re videos are dope.

If you could change your mos what would you switch it to?

I have self harm scars on my forearm and my thigh and I've been cleared three separate times (twice by psychologists, one being a Marine himself, and once by my primary doctor) for the military. The first recruiter I had had me get all of the medical records I had pertaining to said scars. I've been told by a Navy recruiter that I'd never get in but I've talked to mutliple different Marine Corps recruiters and they've told me that it's not a guarantee but that I should be able to get in. Right now I'm just waiting for a copy of my psych eval to come in the mail (I gave the original copy to an Army recruiter and he never answered my calls to get it back), once I get it I'm going to go to a new recruiter and see what I can do. I'm telling you this because I was wanting your honest opinion, as a Marine in the infantry, about what you think my chances are of getting in.

This was very helpful, but when you go to MEPS is the contract you sign the official contract? Also how do you negotiate guaranteed location/job while you are there? I wish to be stationed overseas in Japan, base doesn’t matter, so how would I negotiate that?

Aye bro question I'm 27 years old 12 yrs ago I had a sinus apses in my head and they did a drainage on it . I have all documents , no metal no screws no pins , no mental or neurological problems, I play contact sports and have been cleared numerous times to do so . Never prescribed any medicine . Fully fit , no eye problems , no hearing problems , no balance problems , but I do have a scar from the surgery What do you think I should do?

For any new people watching this YOU DONT HAVE TO GIVE THEM YOUR RECORDS! Legally they have no right to look at them at MEPS! Whatever you give your recruiter is what they will see. If they ask any questions about past medical stuff and if u think they would disqualify u then keep your mouth shut!

I go in a few weeks to meps and before I went to the recruiter I got a physical and my blood pressure is what is stressing me out cause it was high I told my recruiter that I have high blood pressure I don't take medication or nothing I never needed it that's my only issue I can think of but they said it shouldn't be a problem but I doubt that after what you just said I'm very healthy I can run 3 miles no problem I can do 20 pull ups I can do push ups for days and sit ups for days I hope it works out for me

Meps hotel was crazy they ran a train on a couple of the Air Force chicks, dude I was in a room with had a ocean spray gallon with literal floating cranberries in it because he had dirty piss lol that place was barracks party, before I actually got to live in the barracks!

i got a 77 on my practice asvab and I didn't even study or use pen and paper for any of the math. I went to college for music. I want to join infantry tho... what would be a better mos if I study and get a score thats higher than 77?

I got medically disqualified from the USAF and I was on Temporary Disqualified until they permanently disqualified when they did not approve of me for waivers, part of it was my recruiter, so I am trying to go into the Navy. Your MEPS experience was quite similar to mine.

Trell I’m planning to go in the Military myself and I was wondering if you would know like if MEPS would do like waivers too and so that way they can say that he’s good to go so did they say anything about like waivers if disqualified and it has to be from a recruiter right ? and if I get a waiver how long would it take to be with the waiver and I live in Hawaii so would I have to stay at a Hotel 🏨 or can I stay at home where it’s closed to MEPS because I’m also from Hawaii too so did they say anything about waivers at all to you guys when you went their and that’s if you disqualified right? and the branch I picked for now is the NAVY because I want to do Special Operation/Special Warfare (SEALS) and so do they accept or do waivers and if they do waivers how long would it take for that to process me and I’m a son of a former DEA agent as well plus my family were Marines like my grandfather my older cousin and my brother in laws

I have pretty bad scoliosis (40 degrees) but it isn’t very noticeable and it does hurt more or affect me so will they turn me down also I am able to get it reduced somewhat at most down to 30 maybe a little lower

My heart rate was too low. It’s because I’m a runner and super fit. But now I have to go see a cardiologist and get my heartbeat examined with a waiver. Fucking ridiculous how the process works, getting punished for being too fit.
