There are many different ways to pay for adult day care, senior day care or adult day services, however, it may also depend on the area you live in. In this video are 6 different ways to pay for adult day care and we have broken them down into two different options (a) private pay and (b) government assisted.
A) Private Pay Option
1. Out-of-Pocket

B) Government Assisted Option
1. Medicaid - Statewide Medicaid Managed Care (SMMC-LTC | Florida Only)

Hi Lily! Thank you for your reply. This video was primarily focused on Florida. However, each state is definitely a little bit different. The biggest difference would be what types of Medicaid programs are available in your state and what type of license do you need to open an adult day care. It would also be important for you to identify a type of customer you are trying to target and build your services around the customer you plan to serve. Each market is different and there are many different cultural, financial and demographic decisions to make when choosing the type of center you would like to open. I hope this helps!
