This video will show you how to peel beans. Peeling beans with hands can be very easy if beans is soaked for few minutes rather than longer hours. Beans can be peeled using blender or mortar and pestle as well if you choose to, there is just something special using the traditional way of peeling beans with hands that I love. Call me 'Old school'.. I really dont mind.
www.kolawoleaja.... This video will show you how to make Nigeria puff puff. Nigeria puff puff is a Nigeria food snack that is enjoyed by nigerian around the world.

Bring navy beans to a boil in salted water for a minute then soak for an hour. Then rinse and cook in pressure cooker for 7 minutes. Then pour them through the strainer part of a salad spinner and rinse them off with cold water leaving some water to be spun out. Then spin the spinner with the lid on and the bean skins fall through the strainer part of the salad spinner to the bottom and some of them go up the side of it. Does a great job of separating skins out without taking away the integrity of the bean.

Thank you for this! I tried using the blender to pulse the beans, but it blended them, instead.

You can save water using the water from the bigger bowl more, instead of the water from the tap.

Is it advisable though? the taste might be different and the skin might have some anti-nutrients which won't be removed during frying
