I was very impressed with Heath in the semi final and final games vs Germany and Japan. She's an awesome player and I like her spirit. She seems to have uncanny control, above the rest of her teammates even. This girl is not bad looking too. Love her legs.

Soccer is not easy to play well. You must have a skillful to control the ball at any time and also you must pass( short or long) the ball to your team-mate in a right/good position. Tobin Heath always did a wonderful motion to keep the ball at all. She is a great women soccer player. I love her very much.

Its still shock me just how many people have no idea about Episoketren System despite the fact that a lot of people improve their soccer skills with it using it. Thanks to my mate who told me about it. I have improve the weakest part of my soccer game.

I apologize if my comment came across as xenophobic. I tend to take the piss more often when I'm addressing Brits but it's difficult to convey tone through text. You pointed out that the drill is restrictive, which is true. This exposes the flaws in one's technique. A player can then adjust the cones (or whatever object being used) to accomodate for his/her skill level. I'm sure Tobin uses this simple exercise to identify and correct bad habits, rather than reinforce them.

And second, once you're on the national level playing against her and beating her, keep your ideas to yourself, 'cause she's more freakin' skilled than you'll probably ever be.

so what you are trying to say is it's bad to practice dribbling and moving the ball in tight space? set aside the fact that she has "bad" technique. you are saying that this drill is bad because of the tight space... I don't get it, how often in a game do you get closed down in tight space and need to be quick with the ball at your feet. also maybe her technique is "bad" because this is where she lacks technique hence why she is practicing

picture it this way. don't look at the cones as cones, look at them as defenders. if she doesn't practice this in a "restricted" area then when in a game she won't be ready. and in drills they are supposed to bring out bad technique. if your technique and ball control is perfect then it's too easy. she looks like she has bad technique because she's challenging herself.

yh the logic of ur statement rings true. unfortunately this is jut a bad drill using bad technique, and the cones are clearly ruining her footwork which is the most important thing. btw im not british but i live in the uk.

not at all they can be a rough guideline but you shouldnt need the, to know what you want the ball to do this is far too restrictive, and seems to ruin tobins footwork

lol try playing street soccer in 10cm of snow. not possible. plus you don't always have the people near you because street soccer isn't as big in north America sadly

always nice to throw some bigotry on the fire. you can see it as a game all you want but the technique is poor. of course playing with the ball is beneficial, but you shouldnt practise habits that dont work. if you did that in front of me with the ball i would strip it from you instantly. i dont think brazilians like losing the ball.
