Yes that was actually part of our original design but technically there are some things holding us back. It was intended to have some geography and options tailored to various areas. I have no idea when we can implement it but unless we had the funds to create a custom quiz (probably $100k) I’m not sure if/when that can be done in a way that’s a good experience for the taker.

My cup journey (started over 10 years ago): - Moon cup (can’t remember size) - painful to remove due to firmness/prominent ring, need to change to often due to heavy flow - LadyCup large - super difficult to grip, no grip rings, hassle to remove - Lunette big+small - large gave me awful cramps - too firm, small great but not enough capacity for heavy days - Yuuki soft large - pretty great, sometimes blocked my urine flow - Meluna small soft + Meluna soft XL - size small leaked, size XL perfect - used for a decade with no issues Today - my cervix decided to drop low during my heavy days, just ordered lumma disc to try

From my personal experience, I use all three sizes of Genial Day cups and I choose according to my flow, even though I am over 40 and have 2 kids. So sometimes I suggest picking the cup according to the flow even if you had babies. The smaller the cup the more often you will need to empty it and this is not very convenient, especially if you are not at home.

i feel like my anatomy has been as contrary as it possibly could be, but i'm finally making progress 😅 feels SUPER weird to describe it in detail on the internet but if it helps anyone then oh well! i have a high cervix (never been able to find it), im 37, no kids, but naturally strong pelvic muscles that crush soft cups...but also super sensitive so can't handle the pressure of firm cups! 🤪 so far the one that's worked best is the Liberty cup (in Canada), i think it's also called the Sibelle cup in France? it goes up way high but it's got a super long stem, and is soft enough. i do get worried about it turning and the stem disappearing though...the longer cups i just feel against my pubic bone too much. i've gone through about 10 cups trying to find one that works...but i've reshipped a couple of lumma uniques from usa to canada (for a whopping extra $50) so hopefully they'll be the final goldilocks! 😊🏆✨

I'm thinking about buying a larger capacity cup but worried about the fit because even the Eva cup presses against my bladder sometimes. I'm in my mid twenties but i have never been able to insert a tampon properly. I've recently bought period underwear so I'm hoping to make the switch to reusables from disposable pads, but I'm thinking about potentially trying an internal product as well in the future. Would you have a recommendation for someone like me, or suggestions for how to figure it out? Cups sound a little scary to me, and I'm not sure if i should go for a regular small size or a teen size, or if i should go for a disc. Would you say I'd have to be able to insert tampons to be able to use a cup or disc? I also find tampon applicators to be pokey and painful and I don't really want to have to remove a dry improperly inserted tampon from my body again 😬 I'd hope removing a silicone period product would be less painful but either way not sure if i should give up on the idea of cups/discs. It just seems like a more convenient option for travel than period underwear which requires more washing and long air dry times. I think I'm gonna be traveling on my next cycle (and again in a couple months) so I've been thinking about travel a lot. I might just stick to disposable pads for travel for now but i don't always want to rely on them in the future. This video was helpful though and i appreciate it! Gave me a lot to think about.

I am 17 and I've been using a medium menstrual cup. I started with a size small, which is always adviced for teens, but I have a high cervix and the cup was always traveling up, spilling and turning around. Somehow it always ended up too high and I had to reach deep, desperately trying to break the suction. So I switched to a medium cup. Huge difference. No moving, cup sits right where it should, it's leak proof and just overall better. . I'm a very petite and skinny girl, so I'm thinking if it isn't somehow dangerous for me to use a bigger cup? Everywhere I look is said that teens shouldn't wear a bigger size than S.

Wow this is like looking in a mirror. I totally 10000% get you. I like to think that in the same way the smaller period cups are supposedly meant for teens, adults still use them. It's all about the individual and what works best for you. I was the exact same, the panic I'd get when I couldn't remove the cup because it had moved was not the greatest 😅. Like you I switched and wow what a difference. It shouldn't matter how old or what you look like, as long as you're not uncomfortable and it's doing its job, that's all that matters. Hope this helps

I'm late 20's, never gave birth, am quite active (dancer), and have a high cervix (at least I assume I do because I can't find it when I try to measure). I've tried a size small EcoBlossum cup (42mm diameter, 65 mm height) and it's reasonably easy to insert but it won't open fully. I've tried turning it, I've tried pushing on my vaginal wall to give it more room, I've tried everything any video has suggested trying and it won't open. I haven't tried wearing it any length of time because I'm sure it's just going to leak everywhere. I took your quiz and got matched to a Saalt Cup small. I compared the size to what I have now and it's 5 mm taller and 1 mm smaller in diameter. Would those dimensions make a difference in getting it to open? I hate to spend more money on something that won't work but I really want to find a cup that will work because dancing is very hard while wearing tampons because they tend to leak a lot. :/ Any advice?
@sarahpaesfrare8280

A slight smaller diameter can help the cup open, but the easier way to go is to find a firmer cup. Search for cups with more rigidity than your EcoBlossom.

i had issues with my june cup with not popping open/suctioning. took quizzes and matched to saalt small; i've only used it for one cycle but it popped open so much more easily and never leaked! i believe firmness was the main factor (as well as being slightly larger than the june mini).

I'm 23 and have been using cups for 4 years. It used to be really uncomfortable, so I cut off the stem. It helped a bit. Then I decided to try the "teen" size cup. I cut the stem of that too. Finally, it worked. But I'm so confused. I'm 168 cm tall, so not petite. I've been sexually active since I was 16. I am active, and a bit underweight due to medical issues. The cup size I have to use worries me, but is it normal? or should I ask my doctor about it? I do have a history of bad periods, and I just don't want anything else to be wrong. I do also have PTSD, but not due to anything related to my vagina... so I don't think it could impact it? I'm so confused. My cervix is on the low side, but other than the cup "issue" I think I'm normal? Is it normal to be 23 and have to use a "teen" size cup with the stem cut off? (With the normal cup size, I could feel pressure all the time, and could not pee. sitting down and moving was also a struggle)
@iman8133
@iman8133 Жыл бұрын
Hii I’m not an expert but just sharing from experience. First, I think it’s normal to be whatever size, and still have a small/large, vag canal/cervix bcs everybody’s body is meant to be different. And I think I’ve read somewhere that it’s not recommended for some people to use cups if their cervix is too low. So i think it’s a matter of discomfort rather than it being not normal to have a low cervix. And I’ve met people in their mid twenties also using teen cups bcs they either 1) have light period flows, or 2)they use it everyday to collect discharge and the teen size is sufficient. Second, if u feel like peeing everytime wearing a normal sized cup, I’ve read that most times, (and it’s pretty common) that some people just have sensitive walls, so they need softer cups so it doesn’t push the walls as much. 3)regarding ur periods, I’ve met 29~year old women who have very light periods and their doctors said it’s fine, but it might be due to stress/anxiety etc so maybe ptsd could be a factor for ur case. Again, I’m no doctor but I thought I could help a little with my experience:)

Having inserted something in the past will not make you wider, you can buy a normal small sized menstrual cup without worries. If you are nervous about using menstrual cups it's best to use one under 1,60 inches. The Claricup 0 is just 1,42" and one of the smallests you can get, but only holds 13-14 ml. If you have a heavy flow and are not afraid to put the cup in I would suggest a Super Jennie Small or something in that size range.

I emailed the company to see if they would send me the correct size but they insisted I just wasn't inserting it correctly and to keep trying. Because I took the quiz and it recommended a small. Thanks!
