I just hope that when people put their finder to check the reaction of the fish, they don’t do it too hard to the container and do it very gentle ._. sometimes you see people hitting hard that container or the tank almost leaving the fish deaf 😞🤦‍♀️🙅 we need to check the responde of the fish, no making him/her more stressful or sick after doing that

Can you give me some advice. I planned on having a planted tank with a betta and was going to get the plans first and then wait and then the betta. But the person at the fish store told me to do the opposite but now I'm hearing that it should always be plants -> betta. So my question is how should I incorporate new plants into my betta's tank? Thank you.

our 2nd Betta fish died yesterday after having him for 7months, he had fungal infection we took care of him putting BettaFix in the tank but didn’t get better!! now my other Betta she didn’t eat since yesterday 😢😢😢 We have a split tank aquarium... but doesnt have the white patches on it but didn’t start eating yesterday... is it sad cuz the other Betta died??? please help he keeps on swimming up and down the tank and not eating 😢😢😢

Is there any other symptoms on the fish like pinecone scales? We typically quarantine the fish and work with treatment option like aquarium salt/epsom salt based on the fish symptoms. When you treat the previous betta, are they both in the same tank or separate tank? Because we typically don't put medication on healthy betta fish.

My betta frequently stay at the bottom, and not eats the food, But his always responds my hand or any outside movement nearly the tank and Also it has bright colors, do you know what happened?

@@nano8280 have you tried other food? Usually new betta won't eat new food. You can try ask the seller what they fed the betta.

Try Daphnia or frozen brine shrimp. Or freeze dried blood worms. He might just be picky

For us, we tend to ask the local aquatic store for more information and we observe the characteristics of the fish to decide our pick. Also, as much as possible we pick from those where bettas lived in a healthy environment.

I buy mine online from a store a couple cities away that specializes in importing high end bettas and keeps them in tanks while waiting to be bought, not cups. Also tried aquabid, had a bad experience. Seller was highly rated yet used fake pictures of bettas, I got one completely different and way less nice than the picture he used in his ad. Transshipper(Canadian one) was rude as hell. When I called him he answered with an angry "what" like he was pissed off I called him and gave me attitude the whole time despite me trying to be as polite as possible. Delivered it to the wrong house too and left it on the porch all day. Had to go around banging on doors asking if they got a fish in their mail. Never again.
