17 Designs I wanted to get back to you quickly to thank you for responding to my initial query, as it’s been so long ago I’ve forgotten my original question and likely moved forward blindly to resolve. Here in California we’ve got no basements so I’ve chosen to go with a floor layout to hasten operations and aid in feel without the investment in heavy construction first- this has been IMMEASURABLY helpful in understanding what kind of flow I want as I let it encompass available unused space in a large house. I’ve learned a lot through others since initially contacting you and continue to learn as my desires evolve. Right now those desires prioritize accurate motion through large radii, scale grading, and eventually banked curves with all other modeling priorities second. As I see others such as yourself accomplish these wonderful layouts the advantages of hidden wiring and longer routes and lines through elevation become all too apparent and I may head in that direction eventually. I look forward to more from your channel and second layout stealing ideas as you share. @@kenmunozatmmrrailroad6853 Hi Ken, I am glad you were able to resolve your concerns and move forward. Grading, curve size and banking is always limited by the amount of space your layout can afford.
