Great video. When anyone searches to learn a dead tune you'll be the one that ends up teaching them. That, my friend, puts you as part of the Dead story. I dig it. Thanks for doing the work

I have been watch guitar/bass lessons on youtube for like ten years. And I have never until now felt any desire or compulsion to like or comment or generally participate. I stumbled on to You guys last week. and I gotta admit…. I think I’m a fanboy. I watched most of these lessons and I first few podcasts. I might just have to break my patrion cherry. Wier : “..jumps like a Willys in 4wheel drive, what don’t you get?” Hunter: “I get it Bobby, it’s just not a good line.” HILARIOUS

Your lessons are great, Davvy - thank so much for putting the time into them each week. One specific thing I really appreciate as more of a newbie guitar player is that you show the actual construction of each chord. I'm sure experienced players prob don't even notice but it is so helpful to those of us learning the song and also different positions for various chords at the same time. So many youtube lessons don't have charts, are hard to see quite what's being played (too fast or not close enough), and are just referenced by name as if it's a given that the chord shapes are known. You do a great job explaining them - so thanks for that ! That said - here's a request: some kind of lesson on Scarlet-->Fire (either / both / transition) ideas would be amazing...

Thank you so much for this amazing feedback. You kick ass, Scott. Scarlet > Fire will be happening very soon.

Just to let you know there is no such thing as a SUSTAINED chord in western music. What there is a SUSPENDED (suspension) chord. i.e. Asus4 Asus2 Check Wikipedia or other places like music theory for the clairificastion.
