Pros: Boost to strength and con, free intimidation and darkvision, better crits, and relentless endurance. Half-orcs complement paladin really well. Plus, half-orcs are hot. Cons: no free feat, so you might be better off focusing on the great weapon version of the Rakuyo. Verdict: half-orcs are hot, play a half-orc Lady Maria.

I personally run Bloodborne Hunters as Monster Slayer Rangers, but Paladin works just as well (if not better). Nice build!

Episode #216 of the Fire Emblem stats: Lady Maria. Maria's pretty cut and dry in terms of weapon strengths: swords, bows (gun), and reason (for both blood and fire magic). She has a weakness in authority because while she may be From Software's biggest waifu by far, she fights solo and just wants to be left alone most of the time. She has great attack, magic, and HP and her only weak point is her resistance, just like in her boss fight.

I stumbled upon few videos of Bloodborn bosses fighting each other yesterday, saw her fighting Orphan of Koss and thought "I wanna play that in d&d" and now you arrive with her build! Magic!

I thought about building her yesterday and now this. You are the best!

Not going to complain about the blood hunter thing, but to clarify, the reason it and gunslinger weren't made official is because due to the legal stuff for DMs Guild content, Wizards can't publish anything originally from the DMs guild as official, even if they had the creator's permission. Basically, anything made by the community under the OGL cannot ever be published again by wizards.

Great video as always Tulok! I have a few suggestions for characters: Tiny tiger/Dingodile from the Crash bandicoot series King K rool from the DKC series Plague,treasure,or king knight from the Shovel knight series

Speaking of Waifus, there's an older anime called Coffin Princess Chaika, one of the main characters is possibly a waifu, same with a few other female characters. Of course, the first potential waifu we meet is a Wizard that casts spells with a freaking sniper rifle. I think it would be interesting to see the "Senior" Members of Log Horizon, the guild which has the same name as the series, get built at some point in the future. You a character that is basically a brainy half-elf Wizard that specializes in support spells and is proficient in Calligraphy and Cartographer's tools (his calligraphy is so good he can create magical contracts without having to actually cast a spell), a Paladin playing the party tank and is very much dedicated to being a bit of perv (watch the show and read the books to get a better read on that), an Assassin doing her best to be a ninja despite not actually getting trained as a ninja, a cat person Swashbuckler that is all about being a gentleman and is a basically a god of cooking (an excuse to finally use the Chef feat), and they pick up a Cleric in the second season who decided to do a little dip into Bard because she is dedicated to being a starlet and will use any opportunity that gives her a chance to sing. Also, the main cast of Dave the Barbarian might be fun to see, and since the show is very much geared towards comedy it would be really nice to see at least one of them get featured around April Fools Day. The main cast of the show are Dave, the title character, who is one of the least Barbariany Barbarians you will ever find, his 2 sisters, and their uncle. yes, Dave is physically built for it but Dave is, surprise, not a moronic meathead that is dedicated to raging all over the place, he is instead a paranoid coward that only flies into a rage when his brotherly instincts to protect his family kicks in; also he's a bit of dork, his sisters say much, with the social awareness of a sponge, gets excited about texts written by obscure figures, or just crackpots and weirdos, loves to cook, and gets so excited about cleaning he literally forgets whatever mission he was on prior to getting forced into cleaning. His sister Candy, who is the eldest of the 3, is your typical shopping-obsessed teen girl, likes to practice martial arts (probably means she would be a good candidate for a Monk), and is more interested in being the popular one than actually saving the day. His other sister, Fang, is the youngest of the 3, has aggression issues, is stated to be one the world's greatest bug squishers, and is generally disappointed in the rest of her family not living up to the whole barbarian stereotypes to the point she literally forces them into confrontations at every opportunity, and is constantly mistaken for a monkey for some reason. There Oswidge claims to be a powerful Sorcerer but ends up basically rolling on the Wild Magic table for random effects most of the time, so yeah, he is likely a wild magic sorcerer. There is another character who is a recurring villain, The Dark Lord Chuckles the Silly Piggy, who is a literal pig with a magic amulet he uses to cast spells. Also among the main cast is Daves magic talking sword, Lula, who is snarky and is apparently so old she's basically a legendary weapon, but there's no official or playtest material for playing a literal living weapon just yet. Also among the main cast their pet dragon Faffy, who is more like a small flying potato that spits lightning and seems to be "special" when it comes to the mental side of things. Also, it's never explained how Oswidge is their uncle.

Tasha's book has variant rules for character creation, meaning you aren't locked into what stats get boosts and also can change up what skills you have at the start; and some new Feats, such as Chef and Telekinetic.

Hey Tulok, question you may have answered elsewhere: Would you ever be willing to revist older builds given the latest content? For example, just your first 12 videos, when the thumbnails changed.

I'm glad that Pointbuy was used for this build. I know it can be controversial in some playgroups, but I think it helps with more accurate character builds. Also, with the Demon's Souls remake already out, now would be a good time to release more Soulsborne inspired builds.

Hmmm may I post an alternative? A Swashbuckler Rogue and X Fighter multiclass? Swashbuckler Rogue for the massive damage on the first hit without needing to be stealthed or flanking, and the "built in" mobile feat. It also helps that Intimidation is a CHA skill, and you're lying if you weren't shiting yourself fighting her. Fighter is where it gets into personal preference, alongside what setting your DM has. First off, Battle Master. The various moves you can perform with your Superiority die makes you feel more versatile. Chamipon is another good subclass, making way for extra crit range. I prefer Champion, especially if you decide to play an Elven race instead of Human to make use of Elven Accuracy. The last option is if you really want the Evelyn feel, Gunslinger (CR). I know, I know, its considered homebrew. But a potential work-around is the Gunner Feat, which also removes the loading properties of firearms. Again, CHECK WITH YOUR DM before doing this. If your DM doesn't want firearms, work with them.

To sum up the lore real quick, she helped massacre a fishing hamlet which worshipped a Great One called Kos. She also helped kill it and its child. She was disgusted/horrified after what she did, she through down her weapons and eventually took her own life. There's more to it, but that's the jest in a nutshell.

Blood is governed by Bloodtinge, which is the equivalent of Faith in Dark Souls, since Arcane is the equivalent of Spells, therefore Intelligence. This means that Blood counting as Radiant damage (not lightning, compare "Guiding Bolt" and "Sunlight Spear") is totally acceptable :3

It honestly surprises me how many people i know STILL dont understand how two weapon fighting works. Like, compared to a lot of other things, its VERY explicit and clear how it works, but i guess people just dont want to learn. (This isnt talking about new players, btw)

In bloodborne, blood COULD be radiant damage. Lore stuff involving Old gods, oh and the fact that Blood houses the soul.
