If the pact weapon is gonna be a ranged weapon I recommend a great axe for the shadow blade as Spawn does turn his cape into one called Agony.

After seeing this I need to suggest this one, How to play Witchblade in D&D! Personally I prefer Sara Pezzini from comic over Masane Amaha from the anime adabtation. But thats up to you who you want to use, a extra tip: Witchblade has had many wielders where to choose from 😁

He could have gone with a few levels of druid too. Spawn absorbs sin from vermin and bugs in the comics and he can command them. Later in the comics is also gains damn near God tier strength from nature

So this makes we want to make a symbiotic entity warlock pact where you quite literally wear your patron like armor it would be perfect for a venom or spawn build, and would provide a lot of neat buffs such as AC equal to 13 plus your charisma among other things.

Honestly EB can be everything for Spawn; chains, guns, heck even punches. Just describe it how you want. Meanwhile bookworm or talisman pact boon giving you even more at will magic or limited guidence for extra badassery.

You could always conjure a Pact Weapon Axe, too. If you really want to. Might be good if you are sent to somewhere medieval.

Inspired by Spawn, I would like to ask for another edgy anti-hero with ties to the underworld that also uses guns to kill his enemies, Beelzemon from Digimon Tamers. Boy, I didn't notice how similar a Digimon could be to both Spawn AND Ghost Rider, maybe that's why he's my favorite?

You know, for Undead/Revenant types, there is the Hollow One Supernatural Gift from Explorer's Guide to Wildemount. Ageless, so effects that would normally cause you to age don't work. Get up with 1hp on a Death Saving throw of 16 or better. And your presence can scare the poop out of foes within 15 feet of you - enemy can't even save against it - giving them disadvantage on their next saving throw within the next minute. Oh, and you're undead. Useful if you want to just be a lich without too much work. That or some Necromancer tried to raise you, only for you to have free-will and now you want to go after them, like Sir Daniel Fortesque from MediEvil.

Episode #223 of the Fire Emblem stats: Al Simmons. Spawn's sort of like Venom or Green Lantern in that he can make any weapon he wants, so he doesn't have any weaknesses. That being said, he does have brawling and both types of magic as his strengths. His offenses are his greatest assets and his only bad stats are resistance since his weaknesses are strictly magical and luck since he died once.

I'm happy. I built Spawn with no research about 4 years ago and ended up with basically the same build. ^-^

Ok, based purely on the skim read through of the wiki I dis im guessing this will be a (probably Revenant) human with the solder background, as for class my guess is the way of the long death monk. I could also see a fiend warlock with pact of the blade working. Edit: so got the Revenant fiend warlock part.

Love your content and many builds that you do. I have a request for some help in the opinion market. Looking for thoughts on the Blues Brothers, Paladin/Bard or Bard/Paladin combos. Different colleges and oaths that compliment each other. I don't use those other social media stuffs so I can't vote it voice on those.

You could pick pact of the chain instead of blade so you get a cool pet and can pick up the chains of carceri invocation for some more chain action and more efficiency.

ah the use of dr Facilier "friends on the other side" for a spawn video is so warming especially with Keith David playing both parts...just need a goliath from gargoyles episode...screw that an hour and a half gargoyles episode were you build all the gargoyles (including Demona and angela, Xanatos,Elisa, Fox, Macbeth)

December build 14 is a go. Race: Either variant human or revenant depending on how Tulok is feeling. Background: Soldier Stats: #1: Dex: Spawn likes guns. Guns don't generally exist in d&d so Tulok makes them crossbows. But since I'm guessing that he wont even say the word "crossbow" during the video. #2: Cha: He's terrifying and it's necessary for classes. #3: Con: He's tough enough to fight demons and monsters and be fine. #4: Wis: He's seen some stuff and likely wouldn't be that easy to scare or charm. #5: Str: He's a demonic general, gotta have some strength to do that. #6: Int: He definitely wouldn't be dumb, he was a special forces soldier, but it's not really necessary for my guess. Class(es) - Fighter with sharpshooter/archery/crossbow expert. Like I said, Spawn uses guns, Tulok re-flavors them into crossbows. But since I guessed crossbows he's gonna use things like Eldritch blast and Magic missile instead as spawns guns because the most predictable thing about Tulok is that I can never accurately predict him. - Fiend Warlock: He's literally given power from a demonic entity. I don't like to say this but I don't think there's any way he ISN'T a fiendlock. Anyway, show me the Triton Bard/Druid!

Tasha's book gives the "improved pact weapon" it lets you get a range weapon as a choice (crossbows, bows, maybe guns if allowed by DM)
