Now....THIS is how 99.9% of DIYer's wind up doing their baseboards. He's going through EXACTLY what everyone else has gone through (or IS going through, like myself) with caulking. The single best tip I've ever gotten, maybe Brent will agree, is if you're battling these GOD-awful orange-peel wall paint, is caulking the edge of your tape when wanting those perfect lines between the wall and molding. That little piece of advice so far has been absolutely miraculous. Short of that, Brent's right. The smaller the hole in your caulk point, the better off you'll be. You can always go back over it if you need more caulk on a joint. If you cut your tip to big, the mess is horrible. Btw...I've also found the no-drip guns are worth it (IMO).

Good job! This is a more realistic video. Don’t forget that the homeowner saw other videos that tells them to sand the baseboards, then prime, then Sand again, and then paint not one coat but two All around the house so you have to do it “right” otherwise they won’t pay you. Ah and they don’t want brush strokes.
